Webber led Southern Illinois to the NCAA tournament in each of the last two seasons, and he certainly knows the Big 10 after serving a long apprenticeship under Gene Keady at Purdue. Webber also has an outgoing personality.
He spent five years at Southern Illinois putting together a 103-54 record. He also served as Keady's right-hand man for 18 years at Purdue.
Webber is a 46-year-old native of Milwaukee. He's married with three daughters.
